Ginger is a powerful medicine that has been used for thousands of years around the world. It is most known for the healing powers for digestive issues, but its warm, slightly sweet, spicy aroma is also very beneficial to help balance the mind.

Ginger is native to China and spread throughout Asia as a part of traditional Chinese medicine. It was introduced to Europe by Arab traders in the Middle Ages, and it is commonly grown in China, India, Sri Lanka, and the Caribbean.

The essential oils are made by drying the rhizomes for couple of weeks after harvesting, crushed, dried, then distilled.
